1. Single ended measurement

The existing single ended fiber length measurement system is mainly the Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR), which reflects the fiber length by the back and forth reflection time of the optical pulse. Due to the limitations of the timing system, when the measured fiber length is short, the system has a large error or cannot measure it.

2. Link loopback measurement

The visual fiber length tester uses a jumper loop at one end of the fiber optic cable link to quickly and easily test the length of the cable link at the other end. It provides accurate, simple, time-saving, and cost-effective measurement methods for installing and maintaining fiber optic cable links, and is the most commonly used instrument in fiber optic cable testing tools.
