Product Description:
Colored optical fibers are placed in a loose tube made of high-modulus material, filled with thixotropic gel. The center of the cable core is a metal strength member. The loose tube(and filling rope)is twisted around the central strength member to form a circular cable core, with the interstices of the cable core filled with water-blocking gel. The cable is then extruded with a flame-retardant sheath after longitudinally wrapping with coated aluminum tape.
